Atlanta, Georgia-born singer – songwriter April Hill is a fresh talent on the east coast soul scene with songs that resonate with authenticity and power. Today is the result of a collaboration with her writing/producing partner Marlon Saunders. They deliver the goods with Today, one of the standouts from Hill’s debut album, Love 360. Hill’s unique vocal styling reigns supreme here in this cool soulful affair on love gone wrong.

Perfectly balanced Afro drums and warm chord arrangements define the laidback feel of the composition. The free-flow energy lives on in their Late Night Dub cut with a more resounding vibe on the b-line. The 2moro mix by masterful UK house duo DeepCitySoul is a higher energy dance cut with a brilliant shakedown that stretches the rhythmic vibe into a warm floor-sizzler with harmonious synth chords, guitar and sax licks.
